Just ordered for delivery from Chef Shuttle. Excellent! Even with delivery time, the steak was warm, properly prepared and delicious. Onion rings were crispy and amazing. Baked potato was fine - not amazing, but I added my own toppings at home. Overall, a good meal for the value, even with the Chef Shuttle fees. Would definitely try again, and would definitely check out the cafe in person.

Worst food and service. Between Chef Shuttle and Black Angus meals not complete, 2 hours late, food left off of order. $85.00 of food was not delivered. Literally the food looked like it had been stomped or sat upon. Left several messages for Manager and Owner of both companies with no results. Very disappointed. After they both got my money up front they cared nothing about the right thing to do.

Ok burgers with ok sides. Better than McDonald's or any other fast food burger but not by much. Kinda reminiscent of the old Minute Man restaurant's if you remember or ate at one of them.

Still love black Angus. Great prices and good food. We call ahead all the time and pick it up in drive thru. Most of the time it's ready and food is good and hot. The burgers are great but the hubs and I also love the catfish dinner, big pieces of fish and it's always pipping hot. Another favorite of mine is the chicken monary. When you get a dinner plate you get a salad and a side. I get the crinkled fries but like my duster loves the baked beans( I don't care for them) and my dad gets sweet patatio so they have lots of choices. You also get bread with the dinner. They also have a great kids menu that you get a small drink and a side

This is a real working man's place to get a quick lunch. The burgers are styled after the old Minute Man restaurants. The #7 Mexican Burger with chili, cheese, and onions remains my favorite. You can get a good ribeye, t-bone, or chopped steak dinner. Catfish on Fridays. My dad eats lunch here every day for about 15 years. Just a nice working class place to grab a bite.

Great rating food is the focus. Cheap eats. The interior and set up is more like fast food, order get s number then you get your plate on a tray. That is how they keep cost down.

A long, long time ago...they were on Van Buren Street at Markham and featured burgers almost exclusively. They have since moved west and expanded their menu. They have a very broad range of choices centered on cooked beef. Steaks and burgers are the forte with backup from good soups and sides. My chicken dumpling soup was outstanding...it reminded me of my grandmas with freshly stewed chicken and thick flat noodles. The chopped steak sandwich, #10, was very tasty and well presented. The meat was a little dry but overall, the sandwich was good. Order at the counter from an easy to read menu wall mounted menu, pay up, take your order number and wait briefly while they get your food together. Atmosphere is very basic...no frills, clean and neat. Staff is friendly, polite and busy. Parking is adequate. Menu is diverse, but mostly cooked meat. Relaxed, casual situation. This is a good place to have a quick meal of above average, reasonably priced American style food...fast but not "fast food". Reasonably priced and decently prepared...be sure and check out their fresh soups.

Apparently this place is an old Little Rock mainstay. My friends who are Little Rock natives say it's been around forever and used to be on University. Anyway, this place is kinda hard to describe properly. It's definitely not gourmet, but it's not fast food either. It's kinda got the "lunch bar cum throwback diner" style to it, without all the pretention and ostentatiousness of something like the Purple Cow. In a way, Black Angus is what Purple Cow wants to be when it grows up, mellows out, and decides to become a productive member of society. Moving along... You basically walk in and stare up at an old-school letterboard menu (without pictures) and figure out what you want, probably while standing in line. You get to the register and order. They hand you a ticket with a number on it and you go sit down. Once your order is ready they call out your number and you go pick up your food. No waiters involved (...which also means you can spend your tip money on food.) The menu is obviously American, but it's not just crappy-burgers-and-fries stuff. They cook all kinda of meals such as chicken fried steak, fried catfish, etc. So you can go there and get a decent, moderately fulfilling lunch/dinner if you so choose. The prices aren't that bad ...but still not what I would consider low (think: Wendy's.) The quality of the food is decent, but I couldn't see myself going on my own volition more than twice a year. However, my friend would happily eat there every week and never get tired of it. Apparently, alot of bikers really like Black Angus. I see them in there all the time. They do a brisk business, especially around lunch. They also have a drive-thru as well. I personally order the smother steak dinner which comes with steak smothered in gravy (go figure...), small baked potato, piece of bread, and a little garden salad. WIth drink the price is a little less than $10. Not terrible considering it's a decent meal. One thing that frustrated me (though this can easily be seen as a positive) was that there wasn't anything on the menu that was just a giant portion of food to challenge my appetite. Just reasonable portions at a decent price. Homemade cake is excellent, when available. Shakes are good (granted... it's hard to screw up a shake.)
